Our Favorite Eyeliners (Natalie)

I'm not a fan of liquid eyeliner. Needless to say, two of the four that I chose are liquid. Huh. Now, Saina was talking earlier about how staying is really important for her when it comes to blush. That's exactly how I feel about eyeliner. Times 10. I've tried this and that and at the end, it comes down to Makeup Forever. Their name says it all. THE EYELINER WON'T COME OFF!! Try it, put it on your hand, draw a little smiley face, try to smudge it, nothing will happen. That is why I love it. And it also has a sort of matte look to it so when you layer it, it looks really bold and makes your eyes stand out, which I love. I also chose Almay Bright Eyes, which has two ends, one black one white, but NOT for the black eyeliner. I feel like when I put it on, it looks oily like I've already been wearing it for a couple of hours. But the other end is white and it works great for inside lining and the inner corners of your eyes. It's so good, despite the other end, that I have two of them. As I said earlier, I don't really like liquid eyeliner. I feel like it's too hard to put on, looks to edgy, like you're trying too hard. But Rimmel London Professional Liquid Eyeliner isn't like that. I use it on my top lashes only and when I put it on, it looks sharp but not so out there. When I use regular liner on the bottom and then top the eyeshadow with this liquid liner, it looks clean and really fresh, which is a look I really like sometimes. Now, I've tried a bunch of different glitter eyeliners, including one I thought was gonna be the jackpot (Mary-Kate and Ashley Line My Eyes Eyeliner in Sparkling Grey & Black: it went on smooth on the back of my hand so I bought it but when it came to later that night, it would barely show up on my eyes and it did not look glittery. At all.) but none of them go on smooth. And some of them either show just color, which I could buy anywhere, or just glitter, which looks tacky. So I'm waiting in line at Victoria's Secret, playing with the little tubes of lotion and lipgloss that they have piled everywhere and I come across these liners. I try them on and they are all amazing! Not too much glitter, not too much color, and goes on smoothly. Perfect for that little dash of boldness that I'm looking for, especially at night. Eyeliner is one of the things I'm really picky about other than mascara, so it took a while to find these but it was well worth the wait! I found a little bit of everything and just what I was looking for.
