I'm going to make this one short and sweet. It's too late now for me to write an essay. Basically the one product I use religiously is High Brow by Benefit. It's just a really fast way to highlight your brow bone, it's a creamy pencil so it stays on long, and it just makes my eyebrows look so much better. It's amazing, and definitely something I would reccomend investing in. Another similiar pencil by Benefit as well that I love is called Eye Bright. This one you use in the inner and outer corners of your eyes and it makes you look so much more awake. It really makes yours pop and the pale lilac color looks fab on any skin tone. Now back to what I mentioned in the previous post, Urban Decay Primer Potion. I've tried many many primers and I've found that this one has worked the best for me. I just dab a bit onto each eyelid and then blend gently. This keeps my eyeshadows in place and flawless for a full day. Even when I hit the gym after a long day, my eyeshadow still stays put. I don't see how anyone could go wrong with this.
The last product I want to talk about is the Mac Paint Pots. I dont like to use these by themselves under an eyeshadow because I have noticed that they still tend to creas...at least on me. So I'll use my primer first and then put a paint over it just to give the poweder eyeshadows a little something extra to stick onto, and they make the powder eyeshadows much more vivid. They're similar to the Benefit ones, but they are not as long lasting, which is a bummer, because these come in a lot more colors. Ah well, a girl can't have everything.

Eyeshadows Part I (Saina)
The thing I'm going to keep emphasizing is the importance of how long something wears. I hate it when I'm wearing eyeshadow and it starts to crease. Especially when I put effort into creating a super hot look. So I always use a primer under my shadows. In my the next installment of my eyeshadows I'll go in depth for which primers I opt for, but just to keep it simply colors here, I wanted to let you guys know all the wonder that is Benefit's Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows. This product is amazing because it literally does not crease, even when you layer stuff over it. I usually put a couple coats on just to intensify the colors, they're buildable so the more coats=more color. Then after a few seconds they dry and don't move. I noticed this first when I swatched some of the colors on my hand, and by the time I came to wipe them off with just a tissue I was sold. I have this eyeshadow in the colors R.S.V.P, Gossip, Stilleto, and Skinny Jean. I like to layer them with other colors, because it really is impossible for me to use just one color. I'll usually layer them with like a darker MAC color. Which brings me to how amazing MAC shadows are and how I can't get enough of them. I have enough of their shadows to make my own tester unit. There are just so many options it's so hard to choose one of them to buy, so I always leave with like 4. Anyways some of my favorites include Amber Lights, Sketch, Honesty, Shroom, Carbon, Vanilla, Club, Naked Lunch, Espresso, and Gesso just to name some of regulars. Can't you tell I really like to stick to my smokey eyes??Another brand I love because of their assorments and pigmentation is Urban Decay. They have such fun colors and they're super blendable and just so gorgeous. Grifter is probably like one of my favorite shadows EVER. This pallet pictured is the first set of eyeshadows I got from Urban Decay and probably one of my best investments. It also came with a full size primper potion...which I'll talk about soon.
Another thing I look at before I commit to a certain brand is versatility. I chose Bourjois eyeshadows initially because they're really popular in Europe, I played around a lot with them outside of the states. I really wish we had a bigger collection to choose from here in the States, but sadly for now we have to make due with the tiny section that is in Ulta. But that's not entirely unfortunate because we can still get this lines super amazing products. I really love their wet/dry shadows because they don't change at all after being used wet, unlike other shadows I've used. They don't get gross or hard, nothing changes at all! These shadows are also extremely pigmented and super pretty. I also have a couple of the Stretch Eyeshadows as well, which I also love because they are extremely blendable. Now, considering I've babbled a paper's worth about just eyeshadow i'm going to pause here and continue the rest in the next post.
Our Favorite Eyeshadow

I live by MAC eyeshadow. Period. I may have a couple other random ones here and there but 95% of the time it's MAC. I think one of the main reasons I love MAC eyeshadows is the fact that there are so many different compacts to choose from. You can keep a collection of the single shades, they have holiday palettes, many of them containing limited edition colors, and you can also get an empty palette and fill it with whatever colors you want (and it comes out cheaper too). They have matte shades, velvet, pearl, so many different shades of different colors in different tones and substances. It's amazing to see how much variety there is in one single brand. I love some of the colors that they have, I probably have a top 15 if I had to choose. One that really stands out is a limited edition color called Velvet Lady that was included in the 2007 Holiday Set and they now sell it only as a pigment. It looks like a regular medium brown shade but when you put it on, it has flickers of blue in it and it looks absolutely gorgeous on. All of those basically sum up why I love MAC eyeshadows. Another big plus; I can swipe on some pearly gold shadow before I jump in the pool and 5 hours later, it will still be there! Talk about good consistency. No other eyeshadows that I have compare.

Our Favorite Shoes: Boots (Natalie)

I love shoes, especially boots. My closet is filled with them, ones that I've only worn once but I bought them just because I had to have them. But the boots that I knew I had to have were UGG Australia boots. Now, I was always opposed to these when they first became popular; I thought they were lame. My friend came up to me one day and showed me a picture of these UGGs she wanted. She shows me the paper and all I see is $120. I'm thinking, this must me some kind of joke. She goes, "That's not bad." I thought it was such a waste of money. That was a couple of years ago. It snows a lot here and good, waterproof boots are a necessity. Within the last couple of months, I researched the brand and was suprised at what I found out. The sheepskin lets your feet breath, you don't have to wear socks (yay me!), and you can wear them all year round because it maintains the temperature of the inside of the boots. And then I tried them on. OMG, the softest boots I've ever sunk my feet into. My mind changed right then. I really like that they are plain, simple boots, and though they are expensive, they are worth the money. Next I picked Chinese Laundry Boots in Black Suede. The ones I have are Top but the other types, Strate and Turbo, look the exact same and have the same heel height, just a bit of a different heel, if that makes any sense. I had been wanting some really tall, knee high, suede black boots for a while. I saw some at Aldo that I liked but once I tried them on, it was no good. So then Saina found these Chinese Laundry ones and they were really cute. And I saw an array of celebrities wearing them, which is always a plus, lol. So after a month or so and having to order them online because they didn't have my size, I finally got them in the mail. And I love them. Extremely comfortable. It has a low heel so you can walk in them all day. And they go wtih everything: skinny jeans, leggings, tights, jean skirts, shorts, whatever you want. I love that they are so compatible with everything, I can wear them with any outfit. And last but not least, the Jimmy Choo Kathy Boots. I have always adored Jimmy Choo boots, keyword being ADORED, not OWNED. This year, I found a pair that I really really liked and was determined to get them, but I was sure on the height of the boot. Too tall, not tall enough? I guess all I needed was to see them on someone else aka Annie on 90210. But by then, of course, they were sold out. They've come back and on sale now too so it may still be a possibility!
